Suggested itinerary: Reserve a campsite at Clay Creek Campground for 3 nights and at Smith River Campground for 1 night. Arrive at Clay Creek and camp the first night. On the next day, leave your car at Clay Creek and bike to Smith River Campground for the second night of camping. On the next day, bike back to Clay Creek and return home. If there is anywhere to safely park a car near Clay Creek, that could serve as an alternative to reserving a campsite at Clay Creek for at least two of the nights. The Haight Creek Picnic Area is a possibility worth investigating.
