Big Elk to Ona Beach (one way)
About this route
The Corvallis to the Sea (C2C) Trail travels between Big Elk Campground and Ona Beach. Some portions of the trail are open to bicycles and some are reserved for hikers only. This is the primary bicycle route recommended by the (C2C) Trail Partnership.

Directions:
Mile 0: Travel east on Harlan Road.
Mile 0.6: Turn south on Grant Creek Road (NF-3109).
Mile 0.8: Turn west on Hilltop Road (NF-31).
Mile 13.7: Continue west on North Beaver Creek Road for 11.6 miles to Ona Beach.
Alternative options: Between mile mark 4.7 and mile mark 10.5 on NF-31 are possible alternative routes using Bull Run Road, Gopher Ridge Road, 1000 Line Road, and Gopher Creek Road. See the descriptions here: Gopher Loops.
Camping is available at Big Elk Campground (location map), at Whalers Rest RV & Camping Resort (location map) (2 miles north of Ona Beach), and at Seal Rocks RV Cove (location map) (2.3 miles south of Ona Beach), and dispersed camping in the Siuslaw National Forest. Other options for lodging and camping are 6 miles to the south in Waldport or 7 miles to the north in Newport.
