The McDonald and Dunn Research Forests are owned by Oregon State University and lie immediately north of Corvallis. An extensive network of roads and trails provides ample opportunities for recreation, including gravel biking and mountain biking.

The OSU Department of Forestry publishes two maps that cover McDonald Forest and one map for Dunn Forest. I have created a map that features routes that connect the northern part of McDonald Forest with Dunn Forest through Starker Forests Soap Creek Tree Farm.
